Details

The STIHL RMA 339 C battery Lawnmower is ideal for medium sized gardens. It is fitted with the unique STIHL Mono Handle, this handle can be adjusted to suit your height, it folds over for storage and best of all, it gives you easy access to the grass catcher when you need to empty it.

The automatic Eco mode and flow-optimised blades maximise the battery life on your RMA 339 C meaning you can cut approx 300m² of lawn on one battery charge when using the AK 20 battery.

It's easy to adjust the cutting height of the mower in one easy movement with the spring loaded lever. There are five different heights to choose from between 30 and 70mm. The 40 L catcher is made of a sturdy plastic. The catcher also has a convenient level indicator so you'll know when it's time to empty the clippings.

The RMA 339 C comes with a domestic 2-year warranty, plus a 10-year warranty on the polymer body (not associated parts), the handle, and the catcher. You'll have access to ongoing service and support from your local STIHL SHOP.

The RMA 339 C Cordless Lawnmower is part of our AK Cordless System range of tools with interchangeable Batteries - the Battery can be used in other tools in this range including a Blower, Chainsaws, Hedge Trimmers, and Line Trimmers.

Handy Carrying Handle

This Lawnmower has a carrying handle built into the front of the mowing deck which makes it easy to lift and carry.
Innovative Grass Catcher

The catcher is made of hardwearing plastic. There is a level indicator so you know when it is time to empty the clippings and a folding mechanism that makes it particularly easy to open and empty. The current of air produced during mowing, blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures maximum filling. There are vents on all sides of the catcher that face downward, this ensures you won't get covered in dirt and dust while mowing.

Flow - Optimised Blades

These blades only flow as much air as is required - achieving minimal resistance to save battery power.
Easy to Use Height Adjustment

Achieve your desired lawn height due to the easy to use central cutting height adjustment. Change the height with one easy movement using the spring loaded lever.

Light Polymer Housing

Made from a light but high quality plastic polymer material that is heat and light resistant.
ECO Mode

This feature increases or reduces the speed of the blade depending on the conditions, this allows you to get the most life from a single battery charge.

Optional Mulching function

Simply remove the grass catcher, insert the mulching plug and swap to the mulching blade. After being mulched the clippings are evenly distributed over the lawn, this reduces lawn thatch, and provides the lawn with nutrients.
Foldable Handle Bar

The unique design of the mono-comfort handlebar on the RMA 339 C means that the handle can be simply adjusted to suit your height or folded over completely with one press of the lever. It also gives you clear access to the grass catcher - there's no need to pass it between the handles, just lift it straight off in one movement. .

FAQ'S

Q: What size garden will it mow?

A: With the recommended AK 20 battery, this Lawnmower will mow approximately 300m² of lawn with one charge.

Q: How long does it take to charge the AK 20 battery with the AL 101 Charger?

A: 180 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 135 minutes

Q: Are the batteries interchangeable?

A: Yes, all of the tools in the COMPACT Cordless System use the same style of battery. There are three different batteries in the range, which all have different capacities. For the RMA 339 C, we recommend the higher capacity AK 20 or AK 30 battery, we do not recommend the AK10 as the Lawnmower will not run for very long with this lower capacity battery.

Q: What Should I Wear?

A: We recommend that you wear sturdy boots or shoes and snug-fitting clothes and eye protection.

Q: How Large is the Catcher?

A: The RMA 339 C has a 40 litre catcher.

Q: Will I need to sharpen the blades?

A: Keeping the Lawnmower blades sharp will give your lawn a better finish. You can have your blades sharpened at your nearest STIHL SHOP.

Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

A: No there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

Q: How should I clean my Lawnmower?

A: If you wish to clean your Battery Lawnmower use a damp cloth or soft brush. For safety reasons tie your hair back and wear gloves.

Q: Where should I store my Lawnmower?

A: In a dry clean place away from where children have access.

Q: How do I look after my Battery?

A: Don't get it wet or use it in extreme temperatures.

Q: Does this Lawnmower come with a warranty?
