STEP BY STEP GUIDE

STEP 1: SAWING THE TREE STUMP

Using your STIHL Chainsaw, saw the tree log to your desired height. This will be your Christmas Tree stump. Be sure to saw straight so that your Christmas tree has a stable stand.

STEP 2: DRILLING THE TREE STUMP

Drill the centre of the tree stump to the same diameter as your threaded bar. The drilling depth should be 5cm so that the threaded bar is firmly in place.

STEP 3: MARKING YOUR BRANCH LENGTHS

Grab your branches and mark the length you desire for each branch. These branches will be stacked on top of each other to create the Christmas tree. We suggest starting with 10cm and increasing the length of each branch by 5cm. You can choose the length according to your personal taste.

STEP 4: CUT YOUR BRANCHES

Place your branches on a sturdy workbench with clamps to hold it steady and cut them one by one using the STIHL GTA 26 Battery Pruner.

STEP 5: DRILL YOUR BRANCHES

Drill a hole in the middle of each branch, ensure the holes are the same size as your threaded bar.

STEP 6: PLACE THE THREADED BAR IN THE TREE STUMP

Insert the threaded bar into the hole in the tree stump from step 2. Use a hammer to tap the threaded bar into place.

STEP 7: PLACE YOUR BRANCHES ON THE THREADED BAR

Carefully place each branch on the threaded bar and slide them down into place. Starting with the longest branch first, and making your way up with shorter branches.
TIP: For a unique look, place the branches slightly offset to create a fuller and larger looking wooden Christmas tree.

STEP 8: YOU'RE DONE!

Your homemade Christmas tree is ready! Decorate it as you wish and showcase it this Christmas.
