No Petrol. No cord. No emissions. The STIHL BGA 86 Battery Blower is a great choice for keeping your property looking it's best all year round. This light Blower weighs only 2.8 kg without battery and delivers outstanding blowing force to move garden waste.

The well-balanced design of this tool and optimized controls make it easy to use for right-and left-handed users. Due to the technology of the STIHL batteries the Blower will run at full speed until it’s time to recharge, there is no gradual lost of power.

The BGA 86 is part of our AP Cordless System - the battery can be used on a wide range of other tools from the AP range.

Run time with AP 100 battery: Up to 11 min

Run time with AP 200 battery: Up to 17 min

With the appropriate accessories the BGA 86 can also be used with the STIHL backpack batteries. Run times quoted are based on ideal operating conditions. Times will vary depending on load and conditions.

A: The recommended AP 300 battery will last up to 21 minutes.

Q: How long does it take to charge?

A: To fully charge an AP 300 battery using the AL 300 charger, it takes 60 minutes, but you can charge it up to 80% in 45 minutes.

Q: What size garden will it maintain?

A: The BGA 86 Leaf Blower is great for clearing medium to large gardens.

Q: What battery does it use?

A: The tool is powered by an interchangeable 36V Lithium-Ion battery.

Q: Are the Batteries Interchangeable?

A: Yes, all of the tools in the PRO Cordless System use the same style of battery. For the BGA 86, we recommend the large capacity AP 300 battery as it has enough power to operate the tool to its potential.

Q: What Should I Wear When Using this Blower?

A: We recommend that you wear snug-fitting clothes, glasses, gloves and sturdy boots or shoes, and tie back long hair.

Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

A: No there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.
