Warranty

All STIHL products purchased online will be issued a STIHL warranty.

1. Tools used for home/farming applications receive a 2 year warranty. Double the warranty of your STIHL 2 MIX, STIHL 4 MIX® and STIHL 2 Stroke petrol tools purchased online to 4 years by adding HP Ultra Oil (minimum 1L) to your purchase.

2. Tools used in a professional application receive a 6 month warranty

3. STIHL Polymer Bodied/decked Lawnmowers (domestic use) receive a 10 year warranty on the polymer body (not associated parts) the handle and the catcher.

Details

Made from a special steel alloy, this high quality STIHL Felling Leaver is 76 cm in length and is used for tipping trees over a felling hinge in the intended direction. It also features a useful cant hook that can be used for turning logs.

Cant hook saves the day

I had some big logs which i wanted to be able to turn so I could buck the log. I tried physically turning the logs but way too heavy and could make no impression even with a large crowbar and my weakling wife pushing. After looking at youtube i hit on this cant hook idea. Bought it from the Stihl shop and excitedly approached my large felled logs - applied the cant hook and magic turned logs smoothly and bucked them up in no time. I am now thinking of leaving NZ and getting a job felling and bucking trees in Oregon. Cheers Mr Nicholas
