With a powerful STIHL AP 500 S battery, this chainsaw delivers a full electric power of 3.0 kW, resulting in a chain speed of up to 30 m/s. The STIHL .325"-RS Pro-Saw Chain and the Light 04 guide bar provide high cutting performance with reduced weight, making it perfect for professionals in landscaping, forestry, and councils.

One of the standout features of the MSA 300 is its weather-resistant and robust construction. This chainsaw is designed to withstand the toughest conditions and provide reliable performance day after day. Plus, the STIHL anti-vibration system reduces vibrations, minimizing stress on your muscles and joints.

Keep your MSA 300 running smoothly with effortless maintenance. The service cover allows for easy access to the filter for cleaning and servicing, while the oil sensor continuously measures the chain lubrication to ensure efficient work. Plus, the captive bar nut and side-access chain make it even more convenient to use. Stay informed with the operating and notification cockpit, which provides essential data and information about your saw at your fingertips.

Fleece Air Filter

The fleece air filter is responsible for filtering sawdust, fine dust, and dirt from the cooling air flow, thus maintaining the cleanliness of the power electronics and engine parts. The filter can be cleaned using STIHL Varioclean and reused. To ensure optimal performance, we recommend you clean the filter regularly, at least once a month during intensive usage.
Operating Modes

The MSA 300 C-O offers 3 different operating modes. In "Eco" mode, the chainsaw works with reduced power for maximum battery life. In the "felling" mode, you are supported by the highest possible torque at a reduced chain speed in order to saw as evenly and powerfully as possible. In the "limbing" mode, you have a particularly high chain speed for precise cuts. Use the activation button to start your chainsaw in the desired mode.

Oil Sensor

The LED display on the oil sensor provides information about the level of chain oil. When the LED lights up in red, it indicates that there is not enough saw chain oil in the chainsaw. If there is sufficient oil supply, the LED will remain off.

Side Chain Tensioning

The side-access chain tensioner makes it much more convenient for the user to adjust the chain as opposed to the typical location of the guide bar adjustment screw.
Derating Function

The derating function provides you with two advantages. Firstly, it safeguards your chainsaw from potential overheating by decreasing the current. Secondly, it notifies you of a power reduction if your remaining battery power is very low.
