Details

The STIHL MSA 60 battery chainsaw is a lightweight and versatile saw designed to be extremely easy to use, while also delivering high cutting performance. It is an excellent choice for pruning jobs, cutting small firewood, and garden tidy-ups. Additionally, it can be used for general woodworking activities.

This saw features a variable trigger speed control, allowing you to adjust the power to suit the task at hand. Changing the chain is quick and tool-free, thanks to the STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning system.

Safety is a priority with the MSA 60, as it is equipped with a QuickStop Super chain brake for enhanced protection. The transparent viewing window allows for easy monitoring of the oil tank level.

The MSA 60 comes with a domestic 2-year warranty, and you will have access to ongoing service and support from your local STIHL SHOP.

The MSA 60 is part the STIHL AK Battery System the same battery can be used in a range of tools including a Hedge Trimmer, Blower, Line Trimmer and Lawn Mowers, giving you all the versatility you need.

Run time on recommended AK 20 Battery:
Up to 40 minutes or around 120 cuts

Run time on upgrade AK 30 battery:
Up to 55 minutes or 150 cuts

Run time on AK 10 battery - Battery not recommended:
Up to 18 minutes

Soft Grip Handle With Ergo Lever

Thanks to the soft grip handle, this tool fits comfortably in your hand and ensures a secure grip, even in wet conditions.
STIHL Quick Chain Tensioning (B)

Tension the chain easily without using tools or coming into contact with the sharp chain. Just release the sprocket cover and turn the adjusting wheel until the optimum tension is reached.

STIHL Electric Motor (EC)

The STIHL brushless electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient and does not require any maintenance. It ensures the tool has the optimum power output at all times. The motor runs quietly and generates very low vibrations.
Control Lever with variable trigger speed

The lever grants you the ability to manage the speed of the chainsaw, allowing for easy power adjustment and control.

QuickStop Super Brake (Q)

An additional braking system for increased safety, designed by STIHL. The Chain is stopped within a second, helping to protect the user.
Neutral Battery Position

The Battery can be inserted into the tool in 2 steps. In the first position, the Battery does not connect with the contacts, in this position it is secure but the tool will not operate allowing for safe transport. In the second position the battery is completely inserted ready for operation of the tool.

Transparent Oil Tank

The transparent tank allows for easy and quick monitoring of the chain oil level. This ensures that you can efficiently refill the chain oil when needed, enabling long-term effective work.
Two Hand Operation

The MSA 60 features an ergonomic handle tube and a comfortable rear operating handle with soft components. This two-hand operation ensures comfortable, effortless, and safe work in any situation.
