Details

Scarifiying and dethatching is a great way to get a healthy, lush lawn in your garden and the STIHL RLA 240 Scarifier & Dethatcher is the ideal choice for achieving this in smaller and also irregular shaped lawns.

Featuring a height-adjustable and foldable handlebar, this Battery Scarifier & Dethatcher is compact and comfortable to operate. It is energy efficient an lightweight due to the robust polymer housing. The easy-running wheels and narrow working width of 34 cm, make it very manoeuvrable which is great for lawns with lots of corners.

This tool comes standard with two attachment options, the Scarifier that effectively aerates the lawn and the Dethatcher for removing built-up thatch and moss from your lawn. Any accumulated plant remains are collected in the 50L grass catcher box.

The RLA 240 Cordless Lawn Scarifier & Dethatcher is part of our AK Cordless System range of tools with interchangeable Batteries - the Battery can be used in other tools in this range including a Blower, Lawn Mowers, Chainsaws, Hedge Trimmers, and Line Trimmers.

Scarifying Tines

The RLA 240 comes with scarifying tines, which are easy to mount to the machine. The sharp, sturdy, and fixed blades effectively aerate the lawn.
Aerator Roller

This Battery Lawn Scarifier/ Dethatcher also comes with a dethatching aerator roller. This attachment removes surface moss and lawn thatch with its spring-tines, without making cuts in the turf.

Simple Working Depth Adjustment

The working depth can be easily adjusted between 7.5 - 15 mm. Both the scarifying unit and aerator roller of the RLA 240 can be adapted to the terrain and conveniently lowered or raised using the rotary switch.
Carrying Handles

There are carrying handles at the top, front and rear to make it easy to transport, tilt or load the machine.

Easy-running Wheels

The polymer wheels have a grooved profile to make it easy to manoeuvre the RLA 240.
Foldable Handlebar

The steel handlebar has four different height settings and can be easily folded for storage.

Polymer Housing

The polymer housing of this STIHL Lawn Scarifier & Dethatcher is made from a sturdy polymer. The material is resistant to impact as well as heat and UV.
