    The RMA 510 V is a wide bodied self propelled Battery Lawnmower and is ideal for medium to large sized gardens. Featuring Vario-Drive self-propulsion that allows the operator to adjust the mowing speed to their requirements. The handle has 3 height settings so you can find the most comfortable position. Achieve your desired lawn height with the easy to use cutting height adjustment. There is a large 75 L catcher.

    The RMA 510 V Cordless Lawnmower is part of our AP Cordless System - the battery can be used on a wide range of other tools from the AP range.

    Run time with the recommended AP 300 S battery: Up to 300 m²

    Run time with AP 100 battery: Up to 150 m²

    Run time with AP 200 battery: Up to 196 m²

    Q: What size garden will it mow?

    A: With the recommended AP 300 S Battery, this Lawnmower will mow a medium sized lawn of up to 300 m².

    Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?

    A: To fully charge an AP 300 S Battery with an AL 301 charger, it takes 70 minutes, but you can charge it up to 80% in 55 minutes.

    Q: Are the batteries interchangeable?

    A: Yes, all of the tools in the PRO Cordless System use the same style of battery. There are 4 different Batteries in the range, which all have different capacities. For the RMA 510 V, we recommend the larger capacity AP 300 S Battery to provide more power, but you can use any of the other batteries in the AP range.

    Q: What Should I Wear?

    A: We recommend that you wear sturdy boots or shoes and snug-fitting clothes and eye protection.

    Q: Will I need to sharpen the blades?

    A: Keeping the Lawnmower blades sharp will give your lawn a better finish. You can have your blades sharpened at your nearest STIHL SHOP.

    Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

    A: No there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

    Q: How should I clean my Lawnmower?

    A: If you wish to clean your Battery Lawnmower use a damp cloth or soft brush. For safety reasons tie your hair back and wear gloves.

    Q: Where should I store my Lawnmower?

    A: In a dry clean place away from where children have access.

    Q: How do I look after my Battery?

    A: Don't get it wet or use it in extreme temperatures.
