Details

The STIHL RMA 443 Battery Lawnmower is suitable for medium/large sized gardens mowing approx. 420m² on a single battery charge (with recommend battery). The Eco mode and flow optimised blades are energy conserving features to allow the battery to last longer.

The RMA 443 is so simple to use it starts with the push of a button and with the innovative mono-comfort handlebar, it is also easy to access and empty the grass catcher. The sturdy polymer housing is robust but is also lightweight making it easy to move and transport the mower - this is made even easier by the carry handle and foldable handlebar

There is an easy to use blade height adjustment in 6 levels so you can achieve your desired lawn height.

The RMA 443 comes with a domestic 2-year warranty, plus a 10-year warranty on the polymer body (not associated parts), the handle, and the catcher. You'll have access to ongoing service and support from your local STIHL SHOP.

The RMA 443 Cordless Lawnmower is part of our AP Cordless System - the battery can be used on a wide range of other tools from the AP range.

Handy Carrying Handle

This Lawnmower has a carrying handle built into the body which makes it easy to lift and carry.
Innovative Grass Catcher

The catcher is made of hardwearing plastic. There is a level indicator so you know when it is time to empty the clippings and a folding mechanism that makes it particularly easy to open and empty. The current of air produced during mowing blows the clippings into the grass catcher box and ensures its optimum filling The catcher has vents on all sides that face downward to ensure you won't get covered in dirt and dust while mowing.

Flow - Optimised Blades

These blades only flow as much air as is required - achieving minimal resistance to save battery power.
Easy to Use Height Adjustment

Achieve your desired lawn height due to the easy to use central cutting height adjustment. Change the height with one easy movement using the spring loaded lever.

Light Polymer Housing

Made from a light but high quality plastic polymer material that is heat and light resistant.
ECO Mode

This feature increases or reduces the speed of the blade depending on the conditions, this allows you to get the most life from a single battery charge. This feature can be switched on or off.

Optional Mulching function

Simply remove the grass catcher, insert the mulching plug and swap to the mulching blade. After being mulched the clippings are evenly distributed over the lawn, this reduces lawn thatch, and provides the lawn with nutrients.

FAQ'S

Q: What size garden will it mow?

A: With the recommended AP 200 Battery, this Lawnmower will mow a medium sized lawn of up to 420 m².

Q: How long does it take to charge the battery?

A: To fully charge an AP 200 Battery with an AL 101 charger, it takes 200 minutes, but you can charge it up to 80% in 150 minutes.

Q: Are the batteries interchangeable?

A: Yes, all of the tools in the PRO Cordless System use the same style of battery. There are 4 different Batteries in the range, which all have different capacities. For the RMA 443, we recommend the mid range AP 200 Battery for the perfect balance between weight and power, but you can use any of the other batteries in the AP range.

Q: What Should I Wear?

A: We recommend that you wear sturdy boots or shoes and snug-fitting clothes and eye protection.

Q: Will I need to sharpen the blades?

A: Keeping the Lawnmower blades sharp will give your lawn a better finish. You can have your blades sharpened at your nearest STIHL SHOP.

Q: Does the performance of the Battery reduce as it depletes?

A: No there is no gradual drop in performance – the battery runs at full power until it is fully depleted.

Q: How should I clean my Lawnmower?

A: If you wish to clean your Battery Lawnmower use a damp cloth or soft brush. For safety reasons tie your hair back and wear gloves.

Q: Where should I store my Lawnmower?

A: In a dry clean place away from where children have access.

Q: How do I look after my Battery?

A: Don't get it wet or use it in extreme temperatures.
