Details

The BGA 60 is a cordless leaf blower designed for domestic users with medium-sized or large gardens, offering a powerful and variable blowing force. It boasts 60% more blowing power in Boost mode compared to the model below (STIHL BGA 57), making it a reliable option for tackling large areas of leaves.

Additionally, the BGA 60 has an adjustable blower tube that extends up to 16cm and features a protective metal ring around the nozzle to prevent wear when it accidentally hits the ground. Equipped with a powerful EC engine, the BGA 60 is an excellent choice for home gardeners.

The BGA 60 is part of the AK Cordless Range with interchangeable batteries - the battery in this tool can also be used in other tools including a Line Trimmer, Blower, Hedge Trimmers, and Chainsaws.

Adjustable blower tube

The blower tube can be adjusted in 3 stages to suit a variety of users. This helps to reduce unnecessary power loss and offers optimum blowing force.
Protective Metal Ring around Nozzle

A robust metal ring around the nozzle prevents the blow tube from wearing out when it comes into contact with the ground or obstacles.

Convenient Neutral Battery Position

The battery can be inserted into the tool in 2 stages. In the first neutral position, the battery is secured in the tool but does not connect with the contacts, allowing for safe transport. In the second operating position, the battery is completely inserted allowing for full operation of the tool.
STIHL Electric Motor (EC)

The STIHL electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient, lightweight and compact. It runs quietly, generates very low vibrations and does not require servicing.

Boost Function

Power boost will allow for full blowing power, simply by adding extra pressure to the trigger lever.
Hanging Loop for Storing

Use the loop to hang you Blower securely on the wall.

A: The AK 20 battery will last up to 13 minutes.

Q: How long does it take to charge?

A: To fully charge an AK 20 battery using the AL 101 charger, it takes 180 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 135 minutes.

Q: What size garden will it maintain?

A: The BGA 60 Leaf Blower is great for clearing medium to large gardens.

Q: What is the boost function?

A: The boost function allows for full blowing power, simply by adding extra pressure to the trigger lever.

Q: Are the Batteries Interchangeable?

A: Yes, all of the tools in the AK Cordless System use the same style of battery. There are three different batteries in the range, which all have different capacities.

Garden Blower

I thought I might get a little use out of this, but now I have it I use it all the time- blow the leaves, clear paths, blow workshop debris, clear the garage, dry the car. I’m very impressed, only comment is it eats battery life, however you still get lots done with one battery. I guess 20 mins run time. Surprisingly powerful. The boost option is worth going up one model to get.

Usage new BGA60 AK

Manufacturing standard appears excellent. Functionally - moved abundant wet Autumn leaves from 60 sq m of tree lined drive with no difficulty. AK 30 battery life: For this usage - no difficulty. Highly recommend product. Look forward to long life of challenging dropped leaves removal.
