Details

The STIHL FS 45 C-E features STIHL ErgoStart easy starting technology, it starts with a light pull of the starter cord. This petrol Line Trimmer is a great choice for trimming tasks around the garden, it has good power and it comes standard with an easy feed mowing head with a comfort grip which makes re-loading the nylon line staright forward.

Designed to be easy to use the FS 45 C-E is compact, powerful and light. The loop handle provides better control when using your weed eater in tight spaces.

The FS 45 C-E comes with a domestic 2-year warranty and you'll have access to ongoing service and support from your local STIHL SHOP.

NOTE:

Your weed eater will require engine oil. We recommend STIHL HP TWO STROKE ULTRA ENGINE OIL for your machine.

Loop Handle (R)

Loop handle Linetrimmers and Brushcutters are ideal for trimming between bushes and shrubs and other areas where space is limited or when you need greater control over the tool.

AutoCut C Easy feed Mowing Head

This mowing head is suitable for trimming work. The double mowing lines are automatically extended when the mowing head is tapped on the ground. The C version Autocut heads have a unique easy to refill system.

ErgoStart Easy Starting

STIHL ErgoStart (E) reduces the effort required to start the tool. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.

Fantastic trimmer

The product is precisely as described. It represents superior value for money to alternative ones from the big hardware chains. This remark also accounts for customer reviews of their (big chain) products which were all net-awful. The sales service from the store was perfect, and they have full after sales service available on site - so far less mucking around if anything does go wrong. Thrilled with my purchase and based on the build quality I expect it will last as long as the one it replaced. Would buy again without hesitation.

Mixing fuel

This machine uses a mixture of 1:50 of engine oil to petrol. We highly recommend STIHL HP ULTRA TWO STROKE ENGINE OIL as it is made specifically for STIHL engines.

Looking after your Line Trimmer

Cleaning your Line Trimmer from debris and grass clippings with a damp cloth or soft brush and having it serviced regularly at your local STIHL SHOP is a great way to take care of your machine.

Doubling your warranty

This Line Trimmer's 2-year domestic warranty can be doubled by joining our Service Advantage program. Simply purchase STIHL HP ULTRA TWO STROKE ENGINE OIL with the FS 45 C-E and we will sign you up.

Ongoing service and parts

Your local STIHL SHOP can provide you with technical support and assistance for the life of your machine. In addition STIHL continues to make spare parts for 10 years after they have retired a product from production - so buying a STIHL is always a great long term investment.

Using nylon line

Always use the correct diameter of nylon line for your Line Trimmer (2 mm for this model). Be careful not to use excess nylon as the added length will reduce rotation speed and power.

Storing your Line Trimmer

Store your Line Trimmer on a flat service in a secure location that is out of the reach of children. If you are not using your machine regularly, do not leave fuel sitting in the tank.
