Details

This is the most powerful Petrol Clearing Saw in the STIHL range, it is ideal for large scale clearing and forest work. The STIHL FS 561 C-EM has a robust design and can handle cutting wild growth and small trees. Powered by a low-emission engine, this Clearing Saw features the STIHL M-Tronic™ engine management system, which provides optimum engine power at all times by automatically adjusting to the conditions. A large 0.99L translucent fuel tank, allows you to work for longer without refueling.

The FS 561 also comes standard with STIHL ErgoStart which means minimal pulling force is required to start the engine. The premium anti-vibration system provides optimal control while reducing fatigue, and the easy-to-adjust, soft-grip bike handle swivels for easy transport and storage.

Your Clearing Saw will require engine oil. We recommend STIHL HP TWO STROKE ULTRA ENGINE OIL for your machine.

ErgoStart Easy Starting

STIHL ErgoStart (E) reduces the effort required to start the tool. All it takes is 2 fingers and a gentle pull action.
Bulbar Handle

When used in conjunction with a harness the bulbar handle enables a smooth mowing action from left to right. This handle configuration is ideal when mowing large areas.

4 Point Premium Anti-Vibration System

Intense vibration at the handles of power tools can lead to long-term effects on blood vessels in the hands and arms. STIHL has developed an effective anti-vibration system where the oscillations from the machine's engine are dampened which significantly reduces vibrations in the handles. The Clearing Saws have 4 buffer points that isolate the vibrations from both the engine and the cutting attachment.
STIHL M-Tronic™ Intelligent Engine Management

The STIHL M-Tronic™ system intelligently manages the operating performance of the engine. Equipment performance can be affected by a dirty air filter, changes in elevation or poor fuel quality. The STIHL M-Tronic™ system electronically monitors the engine and digitally controls the fuel/air mixture. This technology also provides a simplified warm start procedure.

Primer

When you push the button a small fuel pump delivers fuel to the carburettor. As a result the machine is easier to start.

Tool-Free Handle Adjustment

The central wing nut enables easy adjustment of the handle without needing to use tools. It is possible to rotate the handle 90° when transporting or storing the tool.
A Range of Mowing Heads and Grass Blades

The versatility of the machine is increased by being able to fit a range of different cutting heads and blades.

Solid Beast

I've had the saw for 2 weeks now and done about 8 hours work. So far it's working great. The drive bar is solid and doesn't vibrate like the previous 45cc Husky I had. I'm clearing heavy gorse with stumps around 100mm thick. Comfy to carry and use.
