Details

The FSA 90 is a quiet Battery Brush cutter with excellent cutting performance for clearing large areas of grass. It can be used in domestic and light commercial applications and is capable of driving a range of cutting attachments. STIHL ECOSPEED allows the user to control the speed of the Brushcutter on the operating handle, this feature can increase the run time of the Battery. There is an extra guard around the nylon head to protect the garden trees and shrubs from damage. The cutting arc diameter is 260 mm, and the mowing line automatically re-adjusts when the mowing head is tapped on the ground. The bulbar handle is designed to provide comfort to the operator while mowing large areas.

The FSA 90 is part of our AP Cordless System - the battery can be used on a wide range of other tools from the AP range.

Run time with AP 100 battery: Up to 18 min

Run time with AP 200 battery: Up to 36 min

Bike Handle

When used in conjunction with a harness the bike handle enables a smooth mowing action from left to right. This handle configuration is ideal when mowing large areas.

STIHL Electric Motor (EC)

The STIHL brushless electric motor (EC) is extremely energy efficient and does not require any maintenance. It ensures the tool has the optimum power output at all times. The motor runs quietly and generates very low vibrations.
STIHL ECOSPEED

This feature enables you to control the engine speed of the Brushcutter using the operating handle.

Charge Level Indicator

The charge level of the Battery is indicated with the LEDs on the side of the Battery.
Grass Blades can be Fitted

As this Brushcutter can be fitted with a grass blade it is suitable for tougher jobs in comparision to the homer user Line Trimmers.

AutoCut Mowing Head

Double mowing lines, for trimming work around the garden. Mowing lines are automatically extended when the mowing head is tapped on the ground.
Safety Lock

Press the button to lock the Brushcutter and prevent it starting by accident.

Full Harness

Using a harness makes trimming work more comfortable, particularly during lengthy jobs.

A: To fully charge the AP 300 S Battery it takes 70 minutes, or to charge it up to 80%, it takes 55 minutes with the AL 301 Charger.

A: The FSA 90 R is the ideal Brushcutter for large gardens, lifestyle blocks, farming and commercial appications.

Q: What type of cutting attachment does this use?

A: The FSA 90 uses an AutoCut 25-2 mowing head, you can buy replacement line for the head at your local STIHL SHOP.
